Here's What's Really Driving Bitcoin's Price

September 15, 2017

People look at past price increases in Bitcoin and declare “bubble!” Some of those people are famous, and so people pay attention to what they say. But many of them are also not knowledgeable on the subject. For a simple explanation of Bitcoin, I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4g1XFU8Gto and this https://www.khanacademy.org/economics-finance-domain/core-finance/money-and-banking/bitcoin/v/bitcoin-what-is-it.

That aside, network economics is a new field, and so much of the economics around cryptocurrency is foreign to most. The network economy is the emerging economic order within the information society. The name stems from a key attribute−products and services are created and value is added through social networks operating on large or global scales. This is in sharp contrast to industrial-era economies, in which ownership of physical or intellectual property stems from its development by a single enterprise.
